2024-00015787 3/29/24 10:25 PM PETTY THEFT ROSE GLEN DR Victim got a notification from ring camera that someone was at their front door. When viewed saw a heavy-set male wearing a ski mask and a full camouflage outfit on his porch. The suspect took a delivered package and fled the area. Inside the package was about $350.00 worth of Nike shoes.

2024-00015171 3/26/24 2:21 PM IDENTITY THEFT SUNRISE AVE The victim was contacted by an unknown person claiming to be from their cell phone provider. The caller advised the victim that service was being canceled due to financial information not being valid. The victim provided some information, and following the call, noticed there were cell phone issues. The victim went to the cell phone store and was advised that someone managed to take control of the phone after the call, but the provider was able to change the SIM card to prevent further issues and the victim was advised to contact the bank regarding possible compromised information. The victim followed the advice and was informed of possible fraudulent activity. The activity was reversed and a $300 transaction was halted. The victim stated over the following several days there were fraud alerts and payment requests from several financial institutions. Accounts were opened in the victim's name and transactions made to credit cards were obtained. The victim was able to get reversed and/or closed account.
2024-00014574 3/22/24 4:00 PM PETTY THEFT SIERRA COLLEGE BLVD Victim stated that she was shopping and was in the store for about 15 minutes. She placed her purse in her shopping cart upon entering the store and, while in the store, she left her cart unattended for only a few moments while in the kitchenware aisle. Victim returned to her cart and noticed wallet was missing.

2024-00015543 3/22/24 1:22 PM PETTY THEFT ROCKY PT Victim left home to go on a vacation for a few days, leaving a bike locked to a table on the front porch with a chain that had a spinning numbers code to unlock. Victim returned home from vacation and noticed bike was missing. The chain was unlocked and left on the front porch.

2024-00014640 3/21/24 1:32 PM PETTY THEFT ROSEHALL DR On Wednesday, March 20, 2024, an Amazon package was delivered to the front porch. On Thursday, March 21, 2024, an additional package with assorted clothing was delivered to the front porch. At approximately 1353 hours an unknown suspect walked onto the victim's front porch and stole both packages.

2024-00014203 3/20/24 9:30 AM FRAUD QUAILS NEST ST The victim was trying to log into Facebook on 03/20/2024. A Microsoft window popped up stating the computer had a virus and to call a number to resolve it. The victim called the phone number and spoke with a person reportedly working for a “federal wallet.” The victim was informed there was a charge on her account for Pornhub. The suspect instructed the victim to go to the bank and withdraw all the money from checking and savings accounts and had information regarding the accounts. The victim withdrew the money and was instructed to go to a location to deposit the money in a “federal wallet”. At this point, the Victim believed the situation was suspicious and ceased communication.

2024-00014663 3/22/24 1:00 PM FRAUD CHALLENGER WAY The victim was called by a number not recognized. The person on the other end of the line asked if they had purchased an Apple Macbook and had it delivered to Albany. The victim replied that they did not, and the person on the phone told them that their bank account had been compromised. After several redirects, the victim was instructed to go to their bank and withdraw all of their cash to save it from being stolen. The victim did so without question. The suspect then told the victim that it would be illegal for him to keep so much physical cash in one place, so they would need to find a place to store it. The suspect then offered to have “an agent” come to the victim's residence to pick the money up in person, promising the victim that the money would be returned the next day to a proper bank account. At approximately 2230 hours on 3/22/2024, a male came to the victim's residence and was given the cash. The victim stated that he emptied his bank account and gave it all to this suspect, for a total of $31,400.
