City of Roseville False Alarm Reduction Program

The City of Roseville's burglary and robbery alarm program is managed by PM AM Corporation, a third-party alarm administrator. PM AM issues the City's burglary and robbery alarm permits and biennial renewals, and manages our False Alarm Reduction Program. However, we have a Roseville Police Department Alarm Administrator who is happy to answer your questions and assist with any alarm-related issues you may have. The Alarm Administrator can be reached at (916) 774-5093, or by email at
Alarm System Ordinance (10.64) requires any alarm user to obtain a valid alarm permit.

The goal of the ordinance and the City’s partnership with PM AM Corporation is to reduce the number of false alarm activation's requiring a response by the Roseville Police Department, thereby redirecting public safety resources to respond to more urgent calls for service.

**We ask for your patience as the City of Roseville and PMAM Call Center representative staff are continuing to work through the unexpected difficulties of transitioning to a telecommute model. Some information, such as invoice data, has lagged in transferring into the new system. We recognize this may add extra stress and challenges, and we apologize for any inconvenience you may experience. We expect to have processes smoothed out shortly.

  • Ensure that everyone in your household or business has been properly trained on how to use the alarm system.
  • Work with your alarm company to keep emergency contact lists updated and make sure the system is inspected at least once a year.
  • Avoid decorations or helium balloons that might cause the alarm system to be activated.
