Notice!  As required by City Ordinance, development impact fees are adjusted on July 1st of each year for inflation. The annual inflationary adjustment is based on the costs of materials and construction during the past year (May - May) as tracked by the Construction Cost Index (CCI).  This year’s inflationary adjustment is 0.57%. Building permits for new construction issued on or after July 1, 2025 will be subject to the adjustment.

Development impact fees apply for new development. The fee booklets include information about these fees and can be used to calculate an estimate. As an incentive to encourage development, fee deferral programs have been established.



The Development Impact Fee Deferral Program was established as an incentive to encourage development that may not otherwise be feasible. This program is overseen by both the Economic Development Department and the Development Services Department. The program allows for certain City controlled fees to be deferred to building permit final/occupancy.
