The City has an Emergency Management Team (EMT) that meets regularly and has representatives from each City department as part of the team. The EMT works to ensure that the City is prepared to respond to disasters that may occur within the City.
Who is in charge during an emergency?
The City Manager
acts as the Emergency Services Director. The Director works closely with city

What happens if/when there is a disaster in
Roseville?
When a disaster occurs, the Emergency Services Director
meets with city staff to prioritize and develop strategies to handle the
disaster incident. The Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is activated. The EOC
becomes the center of communication and coordination of resources. The Emergency
Preparedness Manager coordinates all of the functions within the
EOC.
