Storm information for February 26-27

Updated February 26, 2019
The City along with our partner agencies have been working together to prepare for and monitor the storm currently affecting our region. While our creek and stream levels are predicted to be similar to what we have seen in previous storms, tonight’s high winds are anticipated to be significant. We offer the following safety tips:

Report flooding or road hazards:

• To report localized street flooding or other road hazards during normal business hours call (916) 774-5790. After hours or on weekends and holidays, call Police and Fire dispatch at (916) 774-5000 x 1.

• During a storm, do not walk or drive past barricades or road signs warning of flooded areas, and avoid walking or driving through standing or running water.

• You can monitor Roseville's stream levels online by visiting www.roseville.ca.us/streams.

Report downed trees and tree limbs:

• Report downed trees and tree limbs during normal business hours by calling (916) 774-5748. After hours or on weekends, call the Police and Fire dispatch at (916) 774-5000 x 1.

Never touch downed power lines:

• If you see a downed power line, don’t touch it. Assume it is dangerous and call 9-1-1 immediately.

• If your power goes out, call our outage hotline at (916) 774-5428. For information on what to do during an outage, visit Roseville.ca.us/outage.

You can help prevent power outages by storing lightweight lawn equipment and outdoor decorations in your garage or shed to keep them from being carried by the wind into overhead power lines.
