Beware of scams

Beware of scammers threatening to disconnect your power unless they receive immediate payment. While we do make automated reminder calls if you are behind on your payments, we do not personally call and ask you to make a payment.

Never comply with requests for immediate payment by phone with prepaid cards, wire transfer or money order through a third party.

If you receive a call like this, hang up, and call our utility billing staff at 916-774-5300.
