Resurfacing Maidu Regional Park trails

Updated June 13, 2019

Several trails around Roseville were recently resurfaced. Phase 1 of Maidu Regional Park trail resurfacing is underway and will continue through September. Working hours are weekdays, 7 a.m. - 4 p.m.

This regular maintenance means portions of trail will be temporarily closed to the public for the day. Watch for signs and barricades marking trail closures. For your safety, never enter an area that is closed for construction.

Although most of the Maidu trail will be refurbished, there is a section of trail adjacent to McLaren Drive which will require complete reconstruction. Because reconstruction is more costly, it will be done during the second phase of the project when more funding becomes available. Phase 2 is anticipated for 2021. Phasing allows the City to maximize limited funding.

Funding for resurfacing is paid for by the Local Transportation Fund and is approximately $248,500.
