Missing person alert

7:00 p.m. on 2/27/2020 - incident  update 

The missing juvenile has been located and is safe. 

The vehicle was spotted traveling westbound on I-80 and called in by another driver on the road. 

California Highway Patrol caught up with the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop in Yolo County. 

The suspect is in custody and the missing juvenile is safe. 

This incident was resolved quickly with the assistance of the public and our regional law enforcement partners including the CHP, FBI, and Placer DA's Office.

The Roseville Police Department is currently looking for information regarding a missing juvenile.

Earlier this morning, (Thursday, 2/27/2020) Izaivion Powell-Zeno, age 10, was taken from his apartment by his uncle.

Izaivion is described as a black male juvenile with short black dreadlock hair, 4’6” tall, and approximately 70 pounds.

The suspect, Michael Zeno, is the uncle of the missing person and he’s suspected of taking Izaivion, against his will, after physically assaulting Izaivion’s parent.   

Michael and Izaivion left the apartment in a black 2014 Honda CRV with a California license plate: 8LBT608

Their current destination and location are unknown. 

It’s believed the suspect, Michael Zeno, may suffer from mental health issues. 

The missing person is believed to be at-risk.

The Roseville Police Department is working in coordination with our surrounding agencies, including the California Highway Patrol. This incident may evolve into a statewide Amber Alert, more information will be disseminated when available.
