Utility service updates regarding COVID-19

Our hearts go out to all of those impacted by the current health crisis. As our community mobilizes to slow the spread of COVID-19, we want you to know we are here to support you during this time. Your utility services continue to operate but there are several changes to note.


Utility disconnections or shut-offs

In consideration of businesses and schools closing, Roseville Utilities will not disconnect or shut-off for non-payment at this time. We will continue to monitor and reevaluate as this situation evolves. If you need assistance or information regarding payment arrangements, please call 916-774-5300.

Public counter closures

  • For the safety of our customers and our staff, the utility payment counter is now closed. Our online payment system and pay-by-phone options are still available. For more information, visit roseville.ca.us/utilitybilling.

  • Both Environmental Utilities and Roseville Electric Utility public counters are closed.  You can still connect with us by phone or email.  Visit roseville.ca.us/eu or roseville.ca.us/electric to connect with specific utility services.

  • Our Utility Exploration Center is closed and programming has been suspended.

Service changes

  • For water efficiency, Water Wise House Calls have been suspended.  Please contact us by phone if you need assistance with water use efficiency at (916) 774-5761.

  • For water service assistance, please note that our customer service staff is working remotely.  You can leave a message and we will promptly return your call within 30 minutes. Call us at (916) 774-5750.

  • Trash and recycling services will remain in place as normal.  Free door-to-door pick up has been suspended.
