Safety information
Roseville Transit’s top priority is the safety and health of customers and employees.
The Federal Transportation Security Administration regulations requires face coverings be worn on public transit throughout the country. This requirement has been extended through January 18, 2022.
Roseville Transit buses are cleaned and sanitized daily. High-touch surfaces are also sanitized throughout the day. Electrostatic sprayers are used to deep clean bus interiors with a disinfecting mist.
Following state health orders, drivers are required to wear masks while working and are symptom checked prior to the start of each shift.
From March through October 2020, passengers boarded at the rear of Roseville Transit buses, where possible. Additionally, fare collection was been suspended on Local, Dial-A-Ride, and Paratransit services. Beginning in October 2020, clear plastic barriers were installed between the bus driver area and fare boxes at bus entrances. These actions, along with reducing bus capacity and blocking off select seats, increased the physical distance between passengers and drivers.
