Environmental review for proposed groundwater program expansion

Updated August 06, 2020
Environmental Utilities is embarking on an effort to expand our groundwater program with additional Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR) wells throughout the city.

Our groundwater program is part of Roseville’s Water Future Initiative – an integrated planning effort to maintain and increase water resource reliability through water supply diversification for both today and Roseville’s future.

Supplemental Environmental Impact Report now available

As part of the process, we have prepared a Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Report (SEIR) for the City of Roseville ASR Program. Those interested in reviewing the SEIR can visit the groundwater program page. The review and comment period is August 7 through September 22, 2020 at 5 p.m. More information can be found in the Notice of Availability.

Public workshop scheduled for August 25

We are hosting a public workshop virtually via Microsoft Teams on Tuesday, August 25 beginning at 6 p.m. The meeting will detail the proposed expansion. We will also record this session and post to our website for viewing at a later time.
