Upcoming street closures in Downtown and Old Town Roseville

Updated November 03, 2021
Watch for street closures in Downtown and Old Town Roseville during the following times. Crews will be removing temporary dining decks. All businesses remain open.

4 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Monday, November 8:
•  Vernon Street is closed between Lincoln and Taylor Street.
•  S. Grant Street is closed between Atlantic and Oak Street.

5 a.m. - noon on Tuesday, November 9:
•  Church Street is closed between Washington and Lincoln Street.

Free public parking is available nearby in the Oak Street and Vernon Street parking garages. You may access the garages from the Oak Street entrances. View a map of area parking locations.

The dining decks in Downtown and Old Town Roseville were installed as a temporary solution in 2020 to help safely increase restaurant occupancy and comply with the State of California’s COVID-19 public health orders. With the resumption of regular indoor business capacity, the temporary dining decks on Vernon and Church Street are scheduled for removal. The public parking spaces covered by the decks will again be available for use on November 10, 2021.

Businesses that expanded outdoor dining within a privately owned property are unaffected by the downtown deck removal and may continue with their property owner's permission.

Businesses that wish to permanently add seating areas that encroach into the public right-of-way can apply for an Encroachment Permit online at permitsonline.roseville.ca.us. A Zoning Clearance application is required for a Pedestrian Zone Improvement within some areas.
