This holiday season, the pedestrian bridge near Royer Park has been transformed into Letters to the Sky: Conversations of the Heart, a glowing outdoor art installation created from handwritten messages by our community members.
From
December 12 through January 2, visitors can walk the bridge and read notes displayed along the illuminated fence, each one sharing a moment of emotion, memory or hope.
The messages are grouped into four themes:
•
Remembering – Letters to those who’ve passed
•
Gratitude – What we’re thankful for this year
•
Wishes – Hopes and dreams for the future
•
What I Would Tell You If I Could – Words left unsaid
These letters come together as a collective conversation between past and present and create an illuminated community art experience.
The submission deadline has passed, but everyone is invited to visit and experience the installation now through January 2.
