In a Roseville Galaxy, far, far away, gear up for the return of Mulch Mayhem, striking on Saturday, May 4, from 8 a.m. to noon at the front lot located at 9000 Foothills Blvd. (entrance located at 9100 Foothills).

This mulch giveaway will help strengthen your landscape to be water-efficient against any dry-spell season.
In this cosmic garden, may the force of organic mulch be your ally, guiding you toward harmony with nature and the galaxy.
Translation: Adding organic mulch, such as leaves and wood chips, around trees and plants has multiple benefits. It helps to regulate soil temperature, reduce evaporation, and control weed growth. As the mulch breaks down, it adds essential nutrients to the soil. Adding 3-4 inches of organic mulch saves residents up to 30 gallons of water per 1,000 square feet.
Key reminders, these are:
- Given space limitations, we will not have a hand fill area.
- Customers must bring an open bed truck or trailer and staff will load.
- There is a limit of 1 yard per customer (enough to fill a pickup truck), available for City of Roseville residents only. It is first-come, first-served until supplies are gone.
- No shovels or wheelbarrows.
- No exiting vehicles on site.
- Bark is brown, natural fir.
