Roseville wins national award for technology efforts for fourth consecutive year

Updated November 14, 2022

The Center for Digital Government (CDG) awarded Roseville 4th place among mid-size U.S. cities for the city's efforts to improve our digital experience for residents and businesses. The CDG’s 2022 Digital Cities Survey recognizes cities that elevated their municipalities’ resilience while bolstering services and prioritizing engagement with their residents.

“Constituents expect more from modern governments. Our Digital Cities survey winners have worked hard to keep the focus on the needs of the communities they serve while implementing technology to improve delivery and execution,” said CDG Vice President Brian Cohen.

“We have been focusing on technology and infrastructure upgrades for the new, post-pandemic work environment,” said Roseville Chief Information Officer Hong Sae.  “Beyond this, we’ve built more modern geographic information and enterprise asset management systems for many of our city services including utility billing which will improve the services we provide our residents.”

All U.S. cities are invited to take part in the annual Digital Cities Survey.

The Center for Digital Government is a national research and advisory institute focused on technology policies and best practices in state and local government.
