learn more about homelessnessThe City of Roseville aims to ensure every resident of Roseville has the opportunity to be housed. Roseville connects those in need to an array of homeless resources to support with restoring hope among the homeless/at-risk of homelessness population.

The City has taken a comprehensive and integrated approach to addressing homelessness that includes working with the County, agencies, nonprofits, and other organizations that provide services to address homelessness and provide affordable housing.

These efforts include understanding the resources needed to help those experiencing homelessness, implementing programs and services that help individuals and families move out of homelessness, identify what future funding/resources are needed for employing additional strategies that may further improve the homelessness issues facing the community, and analyzing the effectiveness of these efforts to ensure the programs and services are meeting the intended outcomes.

How you can help

The City of Roseville maintains strong partnerships with those who offer a variety of supportive services to all of our residents and collaborates with Placer County to maximize our efforts.

The Roseville Housing Division focuses on assisting our partners with placing members of our unsheltered community into suitable, safe shelter and permanent housing.

Solutions to homelessness are not confined to housing. Some of the most powerful solutions begin with community members and the way we treat each other. We strive for a socially inclusive and welcoming community.

Discussions about homelessness and our unsheltered residents are sensitive and personal, but we have to be comfortable talking about it in order to find effective ways to help

We offer the following information to facilitate discussions and approaches that will make a difference in the work we do together to assist people who are unsheltered.
