Our Local Author Talk Series is back this spring at the Fig Tree Coffee, Art, & Music Lounge!

Listen in on a different author(s) each session and learn about their individual approach to authorship.

2:00-4:00pm Saturday, September 21 featuring Gloria Galloway
Gloria Galloway has enjoyed storytelling since early childhood, back when her dolls lined up for the chance to be a character in her stories. She is a member of the Authors Guild and the Sacramento chapter of the California Writers Club. She grew up in Sacramento, California, within driving distance of the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains, which provided inspiration for writing Amber’s Way. Gloria enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. She can often be found curled up with a book next to her rescued cat, Summer.

2:00-4:00pm Saturday, October 19 featuring Judith Starkston
Hear about the Bronze Age from author Judith Starkston as she presents her book The Priestess of Ishana. The four-part series draws inspiration from the real-life story of a Hittite queen, infused with a touch of magic. Those who embark on this adventure will encounter a captivating mix of political intrigue, romance, and enchantment.

2:00-4:00pm Saturday, November 16 featuring Frederick Wysocki
Frederick Wysocki is the author of 15 novels, spanning various genres such as crime thrillers, spy thrillers, detective murder mysteries, satire, and humor. He has lived in Vancouver, Canada; Danville, CA; Long Island, New York; La Quinta, CA; and Peoria, AZ, and now lives in Roseville, CA. Frederick has been associated with several writing organizations, including Desert Sleuths and Sisters in Crime. After retiring from a career in computer software, he discovered writing for pleasure and can’t seem to stop. Frederick and his wife just celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary.
