Organizational Culture & Leadership team: Your experience matters!
The Organizational Culture & Leadership team (OC&L) focuses on strengthening our organizational culture across the seven-stage journey we call the employee experience, beginning from the time you apply for a position with the City of Roseville through onboarding, engagement, performance, and development.

All the individual moments of an employee’s experience play a role in how they feel about the City of Roseville’s brand, purpose and culture. Organizational culture is the personality of our organization, comprised of the values, norms, assumptions, expectations, and practices that shape our perceptions, behavior and understanding.
The OC&L team collaborates with every City department to promote programs and events that strengthen your employee experience and support your professional development:
- Welcome Day & Bus Tour for new employees
- Mentoring Program
- Speed Networking
- Mock Interviews
- OC&L Ambassador Program
- Take Your Kids to Work Day
- Gallup Q12 resources
- Clifton Strengths Assessments and coaching
Employee Recognition Committee: You are valued!
The Employee Recognition Committee’s (ERC) mission is to foster a culture of recognition and appreciation both within each department and across the organization.
Recognition means something different to everyone. With that in mind, the ERC hosts a variety of programs and events throughout the year to encourage peer-to-peer recognition and recognition from supervisors and managers.
Program highlights include recognition kits in every division with custom thank you cards and City of Roseville swag, the Roseville Raves recognition platform where you can share on-the-spot recognition and give “high fives” for a job well done, and the annual Pride of Roseville awards where recipients are nominated and recognized by their peers at an annual luncheon with an award – plus paid time off!
REACH: You make a difference!
Do you enjoy giving back to the community? Roseville Employees Annual Charitable Hearts, affectionately called REACH, was established to harness the compassion and generosity of Roseville employees to improve the lives of those in the community we serve.
REACH organizes philanthropy efforts for City employees, working hand-in-hand with over 50 local non-profit agencies. Opportunities to give back to the community include donation drives, volunteer opportunities, and pledge drives:
- Annual employee softball tournament – “go to bat” for your favorite charity.
- Hope for Healing art supply drive for hospitalized children
- Pet supply donation drive
- Holiday sock drive
- Holiday toy drives
- Meal deliveries to seniors
The committee also organizes an annual pledge drive where employees can elect to make annual or monthly pledge donations directly from their paychecks to one or more of 50 pre-approved non-profits.
If you enjoy giving back to the community, REACH is a great way to get involved!
Inclusion Committee: You belong!
