Join us Saturday, April 6 as we celebrate a significant milestone—the UEC Reimagined. After two years of planning and construction, the Utility Exploration Center (UEC) that opened in the early 2000s has undergone a complete rehaul.
Community invited to celebrate the reopening
Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 6, at 10:15 a.m., and gather at the UEC at 1501 Pleasant Grove Boulevard. The festivities will include opening remarks from elected officials and staff, a ceremonial ribbon cutting, refreshments – and your chance to explore the wonders of the revamped museum.
The center will be open until 4 p.m., so don't worry if you cannot make the ribbon cutting!
Exploring the world of utility systems
For nearly 16 years, the UEC has been a learning haven for thousands of community members eager to learn about the world of utility systems. Whether navigating through a colossal trash pile or cranking a hand generator to understand electric demands, visitors have cherished unique experiences.
Now, brace yourself for the unveiling of the reimagined UEC—an immersive space complete with mind-blowing exhibits and unparalleled exploration opportunities! Rest assured, the center's cherished elements and atmosphere remain, only elevated to new heights.
Prepare to be amazed
