Calling all Home Schoolers: Explore and learn about the Maidu tribes culture and traditions at the Maidu Museum. There will be number of hands-on activities throughout the museum. Join a short tour of the historic site or listen to native stories in the museum available throughout the day. Drop in any time between 9am and 2pm to participate.
This December the Maidu Museum is featuring
Art as Education, Education as an Art – Collected Works of Artist and Educator Stan Padilla during the Home School Open House. Including a hands on exhibit of a tribal classroom filled with books, coloring pages, and a special video.

Recommended for students in Kindergarten to 6th grade. Children under 3 years old are free. Parent ticket and participation is required.
