The attack on our democracy at our nation's Capitol has us grappling to find the right words to convey how we feel about the reckless, terrorist actions we all watched unfold on January 6th.
In Roseville, we stand together to denounce this violence. We believe in inclusiveness, regardless of politics, religion or race, and our sole purpose for serving is to help our community. We will always stand on the side of democracy to defend our Constitution and our freedoms.
The aggression, intimidation and violence is unfathomable and unacceptable.
Our thoughts are with the first responders in Washington DC and those who showed heroic actions, many of whom were attacked for protecting those exact foundational rights Americans have.
It's a dark time in our country and yet we know better days are ahead. We stand united and resolute in our service to the city and community.
