The 17 acre park was purchased from the Royer family in 1917 and since then the park has been substantially updated. A newer destination-style playground was installed to replace the former school-age structure in 2023. In addition, there is a separate preschool-age playground and numerous sporting amenities. This park also features open grass fields with mature trees, shaded picnic areas and a stage that serves a a concert venue. Royer Park provides trail access to the Roseville Downtown Library, Town Square, historic Vernon Street.
