National Night Out 2023

Updated May 23, 2023
The 40th Annual National Night Out is coming up on Tuesday, August 1st

What is National Night Out?

National Night Out (NNO) is an annual community-building campaign that promotes neighborhood camaraderie and police-community partnerships to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.  National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness; generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime efforts; strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
NNO promotes positive interaction between neighbors and law enforcement by coming together over a common goal of reducing crime and improving quality of life in our city.

How is National Night Out celebrated?

Collaborate with your neighbors and host a neighborhood event such as a block party, mini festival, parade, cookout, or ice cream social.  Be creative!  Neighbors can customize their event to fit their neighborhood.

Invite Roseville Police and Fire (and other City staff) to your event!

Roseville Police and Fire teams would love to help you and your neighbors celebrate America’s night out against crime.  Invite us to your event by registering with the Roseville Police Department!  The registration form is online at www.roseville.ca.us/NNO.

Although there is no requirement to start and end your event at a particular time, National Night Out in Roseville will be supported from 6 - 9 p.m.
***The deadline to register your event with the City of Roseville is 7/18/2023***
