Citywide Construction Inspection Services

The City provides a variety of inspection and observation services. Listed below is a list of those services from various departments additional information.

Capital Improvement Projects (CIP)

Development Services Department

Development projects constructed in City right-of-way, which encompass: underground utilities, roadway surface improvements, bike trails, turnkey parks and traffic signals.

Existing Permitted Projects: To request an Inspection, call (916) 774-5441.
New Projects: Pre-construction agenda form (click to download). Prior to the contractor scheduling a pre-construction meeting, an approved Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) shall be accepted by the City for projects exceeding one acre in size. Stormwater

For development and Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) larger than one acre in disturbed areas, the Construction Management staff will conduct periodic stormwater inspections. To request a stormwater inspection, call (916) 774-5339. Get more information about Stormwater.

Drainage

If you live in the City of Roseville and have a drainage concern or complaint, you may obtain assistance by calling the Public Works, Streets Division at (916) 774-5790. A representative will provide assistance and information as to the City's responsibilities.
