Heritage Trail Starts at the Maidu Museum with Free Admission June 1st

Updated May 28, 2024
Kick off a summer of learning at the Maidu Museum & Historic Site with free admission on June 1st. In celebration of the start of Heritage Trail, the Museum will be free to all visitors only on June 1st from 9am to 4pm. Stop by for fun hands on exhibits and activities. There will be a special scavenger hunt for kids. Take a walk along the historic site trail and enjoy the new trail signs.

For the rest of summer, the Maidu Museum will participate in Heritage Trail Get Up & Go cards. You earn a stamp every museum you visit during the summer (check open hours to help plan your visit). Once you fill your Get Up & Go card, drop it off to any participating museum to enter a raffle to win a prize at the end of summer. Special kids Get Up & Go cards and prizes are available.
