TAB

The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is a new leadership opportunity for Roseville teens in grades 8 through 12. Make a positive difference in our local community by sharing your input on how the library can best serves teens!

Required Commitment

  • Attend and participate fully in the monthly TAB meetings at Riley Library or Maidu Library during the school year
  • Serve as Teen Ambassador and help promote the library
  • Help judge teen contests (writing and art)
  • Lead one meeting on your own or with another TAB member
  • Complete a Teen Advisory Board survey
  • Sponsor a library event during the school year. All TAB members are expected to help with at least one event to stay in good standing – i.e. with the planning, or with the set up, and clean up. This usually requires time outside of the monthly meetings.
  • Note: After four unexcused absences, a TAB member will lose their position and must reapply for membership.

Program Benefits

  • Connect with teens outside of your school and make new friends.
  • Have a voice and be a leader in your library community.
