Saturdays at 10am: Free guided tour to all visitors (admission required). 

Private group tours

If you have a group of 10 or more, you can reserve a private Group tour. Group tours are great for family, friends, scouts, clubs, or home school groups. For younger audiences, special needs groups, or for people with physical limitations, book our 1 hour Combo Tour. Learn about our private tours and what to expect. 

School programs

Bring your class to the museum or bring the museum to your classroom for an experience your students will remember for years to come. School tour programs are designed for Grades 3-6 and meet History and Social Science Content Standards section 3.1, 3.2, 4.1, 4.2 and 5.2 for the state of California. Combo tours are designed for our younger audiences, Preschool-Grade 2. Make sure you book several months in advance to get your preferred date(s). Museum Tour
Learn about Nisenan Maidu culture by viewing California Indian artifacts, indigenous art galleries and exhibits. (1 hr)

Trail Tour 
Learn about the Maidu relationship to the natural world while walking through the ancient site. See petroglyphs over 5,000 years old, hundreds of bedrock mortars and many native plants and animals. (1 hr)

Monday through Friday: 10:00am or 12:00pm
Saturdays: 10:00am

Fees
$7.00 per person ($14.00 per person for both the trail and museum tours).
