The City contracts alarm permit processing with a company based in Texas called PMAM Corporation. It was recently brought to our attention that the contractor erroneously sent notices to Roseville residents.
Approximately 1,900 former or current alarm permit holders in Roseville received a “pre-suspension notice” from PMAM / City of Roseville Police Department within the last 2 weeks. While many of the current account holders do have past due amounts owed, most of the letters were generated and distributed in error. No alarms will be suspended or placed on non-response as a result of that letter. The Roseville Police Department will still respond to your alarm activations.
We are working with the contractor to resolve the issue and identify and contact those who received the notice in error. If you believe you received the notice in error, please contact the Alarm Permit Coordinator at [email protected] and provide the following:
- The permit number from the notice you received
- If you have a current alarm and/or the date you cancelled your alarm service
- Brief explanation if applicable
The City of Roseville continues to work with the contractor to correct accounts and ensure accurate and consistent billing occurs.
We apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your time in helping us resolve this quickly. If you have questions or comments about this notice please contact the Roseville Alarm Permits Coordinator at [email protected]
