If you’re a teen and looking for a fun way to build your resume, our new Leadership Development Program can help.
A variety of opportunities are available working with kids, and our Parks, Recreation & Libraries staff, at exciting summer programs, camps and classes.
When the program begins in June, teens (13 and older) will help facilitate games, improve communication skills and receive safety training while becoming role models to kids in our community.
“This program is an interactive, engaging way for teens to gain invaluable life experience,” says Parks, Recreation and Libraries Coordinator Megan Eaton. “By the end of the summer they will not only have a great time, but they’ll gain the skills necessary to be leaders in our community. Plus, they’ll have great experience to put on their resume.”
