The annual 4th of July Celebration once again includes fireworks due to to the passage of Measure B and a partnership
with @the Grounds (formerly Placer County Fairgrounds). In addition to the return of the aerial fireworks display, new this year is a limited ground fireworks show viewable from the grandstands.
Fireworks begin at approximately 9:30pm, but you may want to arrive early to secure your spot, grab some food truck grub, enjoy an adult beverage or take part in some kids activities.
@the Grounds gates open at 4:00pm. Entry is free with charges for food/activities. Parking is $10. Or, park for free at Denio's (1401 Church St.) and take the free shuttle provided by Roseville Transit. Shuttles circulate approximately every 15 minutes.
Learn more about activities earlier in the day including a fun run, parade and live music by visiting the 4th of July webpage.
The return of the 4th of July Fireworks Celebration is one of the first services restored using Measure B funding. With the passage of Measure B, the
sales tax rate in Roseville is 7.75%, still one of the lowest sales
tax rates in the region. The
estimated annual revenue of $16 million to $19 million generated by
Measure B will be factored into the City’s Fiscal Year 2019-20 budget.
Our community told us—over the course of a year and dozens of
meetings and surveys—what city services are most important, and we are
listening. For more information, visit the Measure B webpage.
