Traffic signals at the intersections of Westbrook Boulevard and Brookstone Drive north and south became operational beginning on
Thursday, March 20, 2025. The entire project was completed at the end of April.
Traffic signals at the intersections of Hayden Parkway/Blue Oaks Boulevard and Westbrook Boulevard/Blue Oaks Boulevard were activated in October and December 2024 respectively.
Watch for lane closures for the duration of the project. Stay alert and travel with care in the work zone. Be on the lookout for construction-related activities in the area.
Work schedules are subject to change due to weather and other unforeseen conditions.
The City of Roseville is installing traffic signals and roadway improvements the following intersections:
- Blue Oaks Boulevard and Westbrook Boulevard
- Blue Oaks Boulevard and Hayden Parkway
- Westbrook Boulevard and Brookstone Drive
- Westbrook Boulevard and N. Brookstone Drive
Blue Oaks Boulevard will be widened to the ultimate roadway width only at the new traffic signal locations. Other road widening will take place as part of a future project.
These updates will help serve the
soccer complex east of Westbrook Boulevard, currently under construction.
The project is expected to begin in spring 2024 and be completed by early 2025.
The total construction cost is estimated to be $8.3 million, which will be primarily funded with developer-paid
Traffic Mitigation Fees. The
soccer complex development will fund the portion of the project that is not currently in the City's Capital Improvement Program but was identified as a requirement for development of the park.
Traffic Mitigation Fees are gradually collected as development occurs and help the City to construct transportation projects in the Capital Improvement Program. Improvements mitigate anticipated traffic impacts from the build out and construction of existing and new development projects. Learn more about how Roseville plans for growth and development:
