Lead and Copper
In 1991, the EPA introduced the Lead and Copper Rule (LCR) to reduce lead and copper in drinking water. The 2021 revisions aim to protect children and communities from lead exposure further. Public Water Systems must prepare and submit a service line inventory by October 16, 2024. Roseville's inspections and records found no lead or galvanized lines needing replacement.
