Roseville Reads is a one book community read project offered by the Friends of the Roseville Public Library. The chosen book is a Hugo Award-winner titled A Psalm for the Wild-Built by Becky Chambers. To read this title, visit our catalog website at library.roseville.ca.us. The Friends of the Roseville Public Library offer this program to:
-Deepen the appreciation of literature through reading, discussion, activities and events related to the title.
-Enhance the feeling of community in our diverse City of Roseville, CA
-Demonstrate the power of libraries to bring people together
Registration begins March 1, 2024, programs are in April 2024.

Listen in on the history of Tea Ceremonies presented by Temple KUKURI and learn to prepare Matcha tea!
Semi-Formal - 5:30pm Tuesday, April 2 at Riley Library
Traditional semi-formal, ceremonial grade Matcha and authentic tea confections served.
Traditional - 1:00pm & 3:00pm Saturday, April 6 at Maidu Library
Formal Traditional Tea Ceremony with authentic iron pot or tea kettle with a Tatami mat. Ceremonial grade Matcha and authentic tea confections served.
Traditional - 5:30pm Tuesday, April 30 at Maidu Community Center
Traditional semi-formal, ceremonial grade Matcha and authentic tea confections served.
