Road resurfacing is planned for the following areas in early 2026:
- Fairway Drive between Stanford Ranch Road and Blue Oaks Boulevard.
- Junction Boulevard between Foothills and Washington Boulevard.
In anticipation of resurfacing, road preparation work will occur in fall 2025.
On Fairway Drive between Central Park Drive and Stanford Ranch Road, lane closures may occur between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. on weekdays starting mid-October. Because of temperature-sensitive materials, work will occur during the daytime hours.
On Junction Boulevard between Foothills and Washington Boulevard, work is suspended until spring 2026.
Please allow extra travel time or consider an alternate route. Work schedules are subject to change due to weather and other unforeseen conditions.
The city’s roadways are an approximately $1.7 billion asset. Regular resurfacing protects streets, improves durability, and reduces the need for costly street repairs in the future.
This work is part of a
5-year Residential Resurfacing Plan and is paid for by the Highway Users Tax and Senate Bill 1 Road Maintenance & Rehabilitation.
